COMPETITION. This year we
have 11 classes, with a maximum of three entries per person per
class. Entries should be staged by 2.30 p.m. at the latest
as we intend to invite members of the public to attend at 3 p.m.

All
plants to be recognised alpine or rock garden plants.

Pots
should be clearly labelled.

Do
not put your name on your exhibits.

JUDGING All Hertfordshire
members are entitled to vote for first place in each class and from
those the overall winner. Judging commences at 2.30 p.m.
PRIZES A small prize will
be awarded for the class winners. In addition a cup will be
awarded to the overall winner. Prizes will be awarded at the end
of the afternoon.
PLANT SALE You are
welcome to bring plants for sale with 25% of receipts going to group
funds. This will be run on the two label system, i.e. plant name
on one, price and your name on the other. The sale will be
run by the group.
PHOTOGRAPHIC SECTION (3
Entries Maximum). This is a
separate competition is to be judged by
members. Photographs
must be of an alpine in the garden or the wild.
PUBLIC ADMISSION The
public will be admitted at 3 p.m. This is a good opportunity to
promote the group. Please invite people you think would be
interested.
